Audi pay off quote

,

Any one know how to get Audi and Non Audi dealer pay off quotes for a lease? Now they make you go through Manheim login to find it. I want to find out what dealer buyout is for my vehicle

Your payoff is available online through your AFS account.

What is an “Audi dealer” and “non Audi dealer” payoff quote?

Do you mean what an Audi dealer and another, non-Audi dealer would pay you for it?

Is the pay off different for an Audi dealer vs non Audi dealer? It seems like it

It all depends. Lots of different ways to get quote and a sell a car, and lots of threads on here for how to do it.

Sorry guess my question isn’t coming across right

If I sell my car to an audi dealer do they pay the same amount I see online as payoff to AFS?

Does CarMaxir carvana pay the same amount to AfS (not to me).

Yes, your payoff to AFS will be the same no matter what outfit buys your Audi.

The key is to get as much over that payoff to AFS as possible.

Yes that i shall work on!

Im pretty sure the payoff quote can be different if you sell directly to a non-Audi buyer (vs you buying it out then selling it). They effectively have the right to make a market adjustment.

They do have that right (as it is a free market and unlike Audi they have no contract with you to abide by), and you also have the right not to accept it. Technically, the buyout is what you owe and is the same figure no matter what with the rest as just a markup.

You should never allow the buyout to be more than you owe unless your deal on the new car makes up for it.

Audi financial charges non-vw/audi dealers a higher buyout price than a vw/audi dealer. You have no say in this amount. The dealer has no say in this amount.

Yes, but as I said you don’t have to sell it there or accept it unless they can make it up on your deal if you’re getting another car from them. The payoff with AFS that OP himself owes is the same number regardless of what any non-Audi dealer tacks on or what AFS says another dealer has to pay.

Assuming he’s has equity, he’s needs to know his AFS payoff and shop it for the best deal.

There is the Residual Value Payoff and there’s the Lessee Purchase. They are both different numbers. The Lessee Purchase is what you get from Audi. I’m not sure how you could get the Residual Value Payoff aside from asking the dealer. I suspect they will not want to tell you that number, though.

Well, theres the payoff he would need to pay, which will have additional tax, then theres the payoff an Audi dealer would need to pay and then theres the payoff a non-audi dealer would need to pay. Without knowing those three values, you cant easily compare buyout options because you wouldnt know the equity position in each scenario.

Yes, he’s got to do the legwork to get the info and the best price. The net is his pocket at the end is what matters.

yes exactly. how do i know the audi dealer pay off adn non dealer payoff?

the question is who will give me the dealer payoff values?

It’s very unlikely that the dealer will share their payoff figure with you. You can’t control what they pay. The only payoff amount you can know with certainty is the payoff for which you would be liable in the event you exercise your purchase option or decide to trade your vehicle. The criteria used to determine your payoff is in your lease agreement. If you choose to trade the vehicle, you’ll need to research the trade value in your market. The difference between the trade value and the adjusted lease balance (defined in your lease agreement) is your trade equity regardless of whether the dealer payoff is more or less.

Your adjusted lease balance at the end of the term is the residual value. Naturally, this balance will be more if your payoff the vehicle earlier. You can use the criterial in your lease agreement to determine your adjusted lease balance at any point in time by creating a lease amortization schedule like the one below…

??? Let me know.
