Audi on Demand (car rental)

Posting here since not directly related to leasing purchasing. Curious about anyone’s experience with this service. Pretty straightforward or pain in the butt? Are the cars usually barebones base models or may have some options/higher trims? Thanks!

Usually 40 premiums

Not sure which model - is that A4 sedan? I’m interested in Q7 typically but either way sounds pretty base

I got a base a4 when I rented one when they were silvercar.

Hey!

I am a RELIGIOUS Audi on Demand renter and it is the best option out there, hands-down.

Download the app or head on over to the webpage, create your account, add your license information and valid credit card, and you’re good to go!

Best thing about it is you can reserve your car free of charge up to a couple months in advance and there are no cancellation fees, even day-of.

The other best thing is that the deposit down is only $200 which you get back at the end of the rental. If you return the car without filling up the tank, they will charge you at the market rate in the area where you picked up the car and same with tolls and other things such as parking tickets. All of that will come out of the $200 deposit and you will get back the difference.

The most important thing and the most amazing thing about the service is every car, ranging from the A5SB, Q5, Q7, and in select locations the eTron, you get UNLIMITED MILES no matter the amount of time your rental is!!

You are also able to have monthly rental options starting from $1650 a month for long term 30-day rentals. For those like me who rent constantly (being in NYC) it makes perfect sense and I save so much money. Yes, I could get my own car for cheaper a month, although I only need the car for certain amounts of time living in NYC.

You can also request a business discount of 15% per rental if you verify that you own a business!

Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

If you have Visa Infinite credit card it will be 30% off, not sure if they increase price before discount or so

Thanks for the reply! Are they usually base trims?

My new Eat Wrong Tea came with free Audi On Demand rental days (7 I think) but there aren’t any dealer locations anywhere close to being convenient enough to use the benefit.

Eat Wrong Tea?! I wouldn’t take that if it were free

I always forget how to spell it.

Yep, 7 days free
with my E trong T.

I just have to hitchhike 125 miles to the Palm Springs area for the pickup.

Or I could fly from San Diego to LAX and take an Uber to Norwalk, and then do the reverse on the way back. Last time I flew that route Bernadette Peters was sitting a couple of rows in front of me.

I have none near me either but I’m sure someone here does. If the code isn’t attached to your name, you could probably sell or gift it.

The format of the code tells me it’s unique (it looks like an Amazon e-gift card redemption code, or a VIN to someone who doesn’t know precisely how VINs are formatted).

Whether it’s tied to me personally and could be used by a stranger without my personal info… no idea.

I’ll buy your seven days.

$300?

AMEX and Chase offers have had rotating discounts for AOD all year. I’ve looked at taking advantage, almost did in May, but haven’t rented from them since it was SilverCar.

For the A4, A5 and Q5. Q7 is the 45 Premium

It wasn’t my best experience with AOD. As a new audi buyer I’ve received one free week ($97 taxes/fees paid anyways to rent for 6 days). Regardless they charged me over $700+ after I turned the rental back regardless of the promotion offered. Multiple calls/emails and just BS from the headquarters in texas made me feel what a scam they running. AOD have nothing in common with audi NA and just a joke compared to hertz enterprise etc

Sorry to hear that but thanks for sharing your experience with them.

A5 sportback with 3k miles was given to us. Regardless of quattro stuck in joshua tree

Oh no! Are you sure that wasn’t the reason they charged you $700?
