Trying to work a deal right now and numbers are not matching when it comes to max MSD amount. Just found out why: dealer tells me that I’m paying for 10MSDs but I’m only getting a reduction for 9. This makes no sense. Has anyone else experienced this? Sounds like their trying to inflate the money factor to get a little extra out of the deal…

That’s correct. Audi is odd…max 10 MSDs only gets you a 0.00045 reduction on MF (= 9 x 0.00005).

makes no sense. unless its a rare car… Audi waives first security deposit on 99% of models… Unless bad credit maybe. Only pay for 9 MSDs!!!
That is correct, to apply 9 you pay for 10. You still receive the amount of 10 back at the end of your lease.
