Audi Lease Extension Question

I currently lease a Q5 Premium which will be maturing at the end of October. I have the option of extending for 6 months. Will this lower the potential buyout at the end of the extension should I choose to go that route, or should I just buy the car at the end of the lease? Thank you.

What is current payement and residual?

$499 a month including Tax/ Residual $24,500 Miles 12k Total Car mint.

yes it lowers it. when you extend it you’ll see the new residual on the website if you keep it the 6months. its basically a month to month so you can buy it out/return/ sell at anytime and the residual will reflect that

Thanks !

Do you think I should try to get a new
lease and take the equity out of this car or just extend/buy the car ?

Can I buy the car directly from Audi Finance ?

Just buy it out

There’s nothing in state law or your current contract to obligate them to this, and they can change their policy on it at any time.

Any answers you get from the internet today have no bearing on whether they will or won’t.

Get something from Audi Finance in writing, either via email or the extension agreement.

Hi All

I have a 2019 Audi Q5 Lease Maturing at the end of this coming October. What would be the easiest way to buy out this car without getting too screwed? My friend has a different model car and all he had to do was call the finance company (Alfa Romeo) and tell them he wanted to buy the car. Simple as that. I heard different things for different car companies. Anyone know the specifics with Audi?

I really appreciate the input.

What does it say for options for you on the AudiFS web portal?

Depends on the state, call them or look on your payment portal.

I am in NYC

It says I have to Contact an Audi dealer for a payoff quote.

Then you are forced, there might a local law in place that makes them.

Call Audi Financial and tell them you have a contractual right to buy the car for $xx,xxx.

Forcing you to go through a dealer and pay dealer fees would be a breach of that contract.
