Audi lease end inspection - Car stuck at the dealership

The lease on my Audi is ending in a month’s time. But the car has been sitting at the dealership for over a month waiting on parts for a warranty repair. The car does run, no warning lights; its an intermittent fault that the dealership tried to pass on the first time; but when it happened again, they claim it needs a major part replaced. After waiting a couple of weeks, finally i scheduled the lease end inspection (AFS lease) at the dealership and the person showed up and said they wont be doing the inspection as its waiting for repair. What do i do now? If the car gets repaired before the end of the lease, i can schedule an inspection, but wont have time to fix anything on my own.

What happens if the car does not get repaired before the end of the lease? will i have to pay to extend the lease?

I’m sure some of you have run into similar situations. please let me know what you think

Calling AFS tomorrow would be your best bet.

As long as it’s not in pieces in a service bay, there is no reason they can’t inspect the car in a customer parking space out front.

Are you in a loaner? Have you spoken to Audi Customer care about the lingering service issue? If so, involve them in this also.
