I’m a bit confused by the Audi EV nomenclature. So we have:
- A3 e-tron - a defunct PHEV hatchback
- Audi e-ron regular - a sort of SUV type EV
- Audi e-tron sportback - a swoopier sort of SUV type EV
and now we have the e-tron GT which is a sports hatchback sedan EV type thing? I know Audi is not alone in confusing names for their EV range but its a bit of a mess imo.
*zombified
They brought it back in Europe for 2020. There was also the R8 etron, which they killed.
Getting ready for the 250 max mile range sigh
Is this the Audi version of Taycan? I wonder if there will be Lambo or Bentley version of the same car.
They’re using e-tron as a sub brand for all their evs. Supposed to have a half dozen or so different models. The q4 e-tron looks interesting
It is. I can’t imagine it would make sense as a Bentley, but maybe for Lambo. After the Urus, anything could be justified for the raging bull brand.
There was also a limited offering A3 etron that was the prior gen A3 5-door, but a full EV.

That’s fine…this is a performance car anyway so the lower range is excusable.
If it’s battling for the same market as the taycan seems to be in line then
