So I was doing some research on Audi incentives and noticed that TrueCar lists an “Audi Association Benefit program” incentive with a range of $1250-2000 depending on the model of car. From what I have previously understood, the Audi Association Benefit program was only good for a 6% discount on MSRP, and was completely optional for dealers to honor making it worthless. I have tried to get other information about this but it has been hard to come by, the only thing I have found is on a random dealers page, see below:
Affiliate Offer : $1,250 cash back on select Audi models
Manufacturer Offers
- $1,250 cash back
Offer only valid 6/17/2021 through 1/03/2022
Applies to multiple models. See Trims
Disclaimer(s):
- Customer must present a valid Association Benefit Program Certificate, proof of identification (government-issued), and proof of membership with an eligible occupational association to be eligible to receive the Association Benefit Program discount. Customer must be a member of an eligible occupational association as determined by Audi of America. A list of eligible Association Benefit Program Partners can be found in the rotating carousal on the Audi Incentives Claims Portal. The member of an eligible occupational association must be the primary applicant or, if the purchase is made by a household member, proof of common residence must be presented and retained with the deal jacket. Each eligible customer only qualifies for one (1) Association Benefit Program discount.
Based on this info, is this a new addition to the Audi Association Benefit program that took effect on June 17, and if so, can it actually be used or combined with any other offers? It might help make things a little more hackable in this environment.
