I didn’t know Audi residuals are in the 40s… I understand Halloween is already over but wow- look at this horrendous deal for a 2016 (the new 2017s are already out) A3 e-tron.
You can’t generalize that all Audi residuals as being terrible by only looking at the A3 e-tron. Most electric cars have poor residuals because of how fast the technology is evolving. Who is going to want a 3 year old EV when new vehicles have 3x the range? Chevy Volt also has residuals in the 40s and the Spark is in the 30s.
Thanks mate- good to know. I think the i3 takes it in terms of value.
Yes, BMW is known for inflating their residual values and the i3 is no exception.
That’s because the discount you’re getting is kinda abysmal. I’ve seen 6-7k off.
In August I was able to lease for 42mo/12k, roll in a -4k net equity trade, still put only ~3.4k down, and I was still less than $480/mo. Granted that was for a Premium + Nav + 17" wheels, not a Premium Plus, so YMMV.
