ATS-V Lease Transfer? Anyone interested? 25 months left

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: [2016 Cadillac ATS-V]

MSRP: [$79k]
Selling Price: [$588.09 including 9% PA lease tax]
25 months remaining

Months: [25]
Annual Mileage: [12,000 - 39,000 total]
Current miles on car: [8,977]

Anyone have any interest in taking over my ATS-V sedan lease? The garage is getting full and this one has seen little use lately. Just got back from the spa, just had its Cadillac service done and a fresh PA inspection. Car is new in every way. No kids were ever in this one (back seat has never been used), no pets, no smoking, no accidents. Literally drove this one out of the showroom! Pretty much hard loaded (carbon fiber kit, suede wheel, data recorder, etc., etc.) I can snap a picture of the window sticker if anyone is interested.

I would love a little cash to me to take over, because I know this is a great payment on this car. I’m negotiable. I’ve never done a lease transfer before, is there any risk at all to me? Any pointers would be helpful. I’m near Harrisburg, PA area for anyone interested. Lease is with GM Financial Services.

As long as you’re not in the first 6 or last 12 months of the lease, it is transferable. You don’t have any liability after it’s transferred, so no risk to you. I think GM only allows same state transfers.

Thanks for the input! Good news (for the most part… the in-state limitation certainly limits potential shoppers).

Ugh I would take this off your hands immediately but I don’t live in PA.

Got the the information below on the swaplease website.

Beautiful car! I almost leased one but they wanted $770 with 0 down.

If you dont mind me asking, how did you get such a good deal? Did you put a good amount down?

I have to pull the contract tomorrow because I can’t quite remember. I think it was 1k total due at lease signing. I’d be happy to get the 1k back from the next lessee but I’m open to offers.

Would be interested but in CA. Strange provision thst the two parties must be in the same state.

I’m in New York, and interested. Are lease transfers possible out of state?

The answer is contained in previous posts.

I took a couple minutes today to review the lease contract of the ATS-V. It was 100% sign and drive on my part (I remember that the dealer and I caught a $750 GM loyalty rebate right as I went to sign, so the paperwork shows $750 out of pocket at signing, but it was covered by loyalty). I also got a $100 visa gift card from the dealer when I leased the car  That being said, I would not need any $ to me to take over this lease, the new owner just needs to cover the transfer fee with GM financial. Let me know if any of you PA shoppers are interested. This V is pretty much hard loaded. I think this deal would be difficult to replicate.

Deal currently pending. I will repost if anything falls thru.

I’d recommend the swapalease.com. I swear I had 20 or more people hit me up for the car. Only a few could qualify though. I just transferred my 2017 Scat pack to someone today. So now I’m free again it feels so good…One time fee of different tiers. Worth it as it brings the people to you.

Unfortunately, the buyer was not able to get qualified with GM Financial. This lease transfer is still available.

Any way to get around the instate requirement?

Unfortunately, not that I am aware of.

So weird why has no one taken this over yet?

I’m in Pittsburgh and would probably take this over if the timing was a little closer to my current car’s lease-end, which is at the end of February. Can’t imagine the deal will hang around much longer. If by chance it does, let me know. Good luck!

Thanks for your interest. It is a sweet car, I just need to thin out the herd a bit. October’s payment was just made so that drops the payments by 1. If I were willing to also throw in November’s payment would that make you be interested now? That way you would only have December and January that overlap with your other car? Let me know.
