2018 Tiguan S if you can find one.
Im in VA, I got my wife an Escape SE for $327 per month (sticker was $27,300) everything rolled in including property tax for the 3yrs and I paid first payment only at signing. Its tough because VA is tax full amount not the leased portion and then has use tax in many counties.
There is a Honda dealer in TX offering HRV for $276 including TT&L only first months payment due at signing 12k/year 36 months. CRV is $299.

I know you are in a different state but something to think about, or may be helpful to others looking. Good luck!

I haven’t had a chance to respond, but I have been keeping up with this thread. The advice I have received here and across the leasehackr forum has been outstanding and it certainly saved me quite a bit of money. I am happy to say that my wife and I closed on a lease last night for a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox LT 1LT FWD for 12k/36mo. My wife and I really enjoyed our test drives, and both of us were really amazed at the technology and features that were available, especially when we compare it to our CRV LX. Here is the deal:
MSRP = $30,340 (includes confidence and convenience package)
Sale Price = $27,167.84
Incentives = $1,640 customer incentive +$1500 conquest = $3140
Taxes = $1,076.50
Acquisition fee = $650.00
Documentation fee = $799.00
MF/RV = 0.00051/59%
Title/License/Registration = $57.75
We will also be receiving a check for $550.00 that covers the last payment on our Civic ($200) and the Honda disposition fee ($350).
Due at signing = $255.00 - First month’s payment
Monthly payment = $255.00
Overall, I am really happy with this deal. I had a chance to compare it to what others were receiving on the leasehackr forum, and thought that I had negotiated a pretty good lease (particularly for Virginia and how taxes are dealt with). The best advice I received was to negotiate the price first before anything else, and that really worked well. I also really enjoyed the dealership I worked with.
Finally, as you can tell we only leased one vehicle. We are still deciding on what we want to do with the second vehicle. I think we might opt for a larger mid-size sedan (thanks for the tip Havok!). I have a long commute to work so good gas mileage is a must, but extra room in the back for two car seats is also important. The Civic is just too tight. We also still have our two Honda leases going to the end of March, so if a large conquest incentive swings through we might jump on that.
Here is the calculator for our deal. I can’t quite get it to exactly $255, perhaps it has something to do with the tax being a few dollars more than what I paid.
If you have an expiring Honda lease, there is an additional 750 lease cash, if you can find a left over LX or EX you might be able to eek out a 250 payment with first month DAS.
I received this deal the on an Equinox L in Miami
I am not quite sure I understanding it, because I could not meet the number 219 plus tax
It beats the 1% rule but I’m curious what that price adjustment line item is.
I can attest to that, I have the Trax and it definitely doesn’t have as much actual space as a full sized sedan would have as far as leg room and storage space goes. Trax == Encore as far as specs are concerned.
Would barely be able to get anything else into the Trax’s trunk after the stroller goes in. I do a lot of Costco shopping and with the 2018 Outback I can use half the trunk for groceries and the other half still sits the stroller.
Just food for thought as far as SUV =!= always best for families.
|Price adjustment would be my last lease payment to Honda Financial. I do not understand though. Does not match the LeaseHackr calculator. Can you help?|
In SoCal a Equinox LS will get u at ur Payment. We got a LT with tech with zero down and zero drive offs/customer cash 12/36 for $268 after taxes/MSRP a bit over $30k. If u add the first month rolled in almost gets u at $250.
