Are packages (premium audio etc) included in residual % or should they be considered paid upfront?

I think I decided to lease a Toyota Venza XLE with the JBL package. The dealer seemed pretty happy to just move the car so I’m optimistic. The premium audio package is +$2k. It’s very worth it for me.

Should I include this in MSRP when calculating the discount price/selling price? Some mfgs have different residuals for different trims and packages. With Toyota they appear to be the same.

The MSRP you should use is the MSRP on the window sticker, which includes factory options/packages.

The Residual and MF you use is for the year/make/model/trim that you are looking at.

Usually if something is included on the winder sticker and is part of MSRP it is residualized

Unless it’s added after
Or there’s a max Msrp that can be residualized and everything above that is a hard cost ($/term)
