I own a Chevy 2500 6.6 v8 gas that is mostly used to pull our camper. I’m just about to hit 7,000 miles after 1 year of ownership. We’ve started to take longer trips, and the farther away we get from the flatlands, the more a diesel truck appeals to me. The additional $10k for a diesel is a hard price to pay, though. I’ve never leased before, and I’ve never heard of anyone leasing an HD truck, but if it can save me a few dollars a month, I’m interested. Do heavy duty truck leases make sense? If it makes a difference, I’m eligible for GM employee/family pricing.

Generally speaking, 3/4 ton and 1 ton diesels are as horrible as leases can get.
If you find an exception I would love to see it.
