I’m in Michigan and am taking over a lease through GM Financial. It’s been 3 weeks since I got the call saying that I was approved to take the car but I am still waiting on the paperwork to get registration and plates, so now I have a car sitting out front of my apartment with no plates for 3 weeks which looks a bit sketchy lol
My main question is, has anyone else worked with GM Financial and had it take this long? I know they advised a few weeks, but I don’t really understand why it takes so long to sort out the paperwork to get it registered to me. If anyone can give me more info through their experiences that would be greatly appreciated, as all I’ve been able to get from GMF is vague answers.
