Any VW ID Buzz deals or brokers?

Any VW brokers here? Looking at the VW ID Buzz.

I am seeing dealer website advertise about 5k dealer discount and another 7.5k discount. Wondering how low to push further.

Thanks

I have a few I haven’t updated yet - but the program is trash unless you’re in a subvented marke

At least in my market the dealer discount needed to make one of these remotely appealing is staggering. The programs stink and they have been rotting for over a year on the lot. $5K dealer discount is nowhere close to being good enough to make anything work. Try $30K lmao.

The issue like everyone said is that the numbers are bad (like all the values needed). The only “good” option may be the 12/7.5 which is I think 62%. The dealer cash I believe is on the sub-vented MF.

I tried to get a dealer who was sitting on one for a very long time and they didn’t want to take a blood bath. They also said that VW really put them in a bad spot with these models given the high entry point and drive to sell via purchase rather than incentivizing lease. Even at the end of the tax credits, VWFS were not blowing these out.

I am following the buzz because we have yet another baby coming down the pike and it is the only EV with a sliding door.

Looks like VW corp is finally feeling the heat. They threw in $7500 in rebate in late Nov. But the mf and rv are still really bad. We will need to wait and see what happens next.

If one must get this today, purchase seems to be the play, maybe after $20k off in dealer discount and rebate combined. But oh boy is it risky. There is a good chance these will go for like $23k in 2028. Maaaybe these will slow down depreciating in the sub $50k region and even hold value well given how unique these are. But that’s a lot of hopium.

Is 20k dealer discount realistic or people are just throwing out a number.

Half and half.

I’ve seen enough data points from normie websites that makes me believe the rock bottom is around 20k off (including rebates). But most people on those normie websites don’t know how to read buyer’s orders so take that with a grain of salt.

Does anyone know how much do they (e.g. 1st edition AWD with delivery-ish miles) fetch at auctions? I presume they go about 45k-50k over there?

Following this market too. I would cave in potentially at around $500/m for AWD model as my wife really wants one.

Don’t think 500 is going to be doable. Minivans don’t lease that well overall. Base model on this is already pretty loaded.

This one has 220 range I don’t see much of a target market

It’s DOA, 10char

What is DOA

Dead on arrival.

For the money I’d rather just get a Model X though. Admittedly the VW does win the quirk factor just on scarcity alone.

Interesting enough so far most dealers are $5k dealer discount plus 7.5k incentive. Like they are all on the same page, usually the discount various but here they are consistent. Hmm.

I would never get one but I have seen a few out here in SoCal and they look pretty cool in person!!!

Still trying my luck on these but tough market. No where near the 20k discount.

Give it 90 more days and see where the prices are at. My guess is the giveaways will start soon on these as VW really has no choice.

Need a car this month but I agree they will need to discounts them. They are 2025 and it is almost 2026.

I think this is solid advice. The more you wait the better it could be but I’ve been tracking these and for month over month VWFS really isn’t incentivizing leases even when they had tax credits.
