Any one take this Crazy Alfa Romeo PHEV lease deal?

Hi Hackers!

I just received this email from my Alfa Romeo dealer. $299 / month with $1995 down?? Such a cheap Italia car. I want to ask if anyone really takes this deal. The email screenshot is below

Tax Title and Acq. fee extra, including conquest or loyalty. That 1995 down will probably turn into 3k+ real quick, and it says 24m 5k miles per year? That is an ally term but I’d need to read the program book to verify it’d apply to this vehicle

Also, they said you must have a trade-in or put an additional $1000 down. They are just going to steal from the trade to discount the car. And don’t forget the extra dealer-installed accessories. It is like they tried making the most scammy, bait-and-switch lease deal ever, Alfa dealers are scums anyway, so this doesn’t surprise me.

IIRC, the Hornet is basically just a Tonale and Alfa wasn’t particularly happy about what they did.

The reviews are kinda all over the place since a lot of people are saying that the Alfa drives better but the Hornet is faster and the one that you should get. :man_shrugging:
