Any luck selling Infiniti lease to CarMax or 3rd party?

The contract should have a whole section regarding your purchase options

I sold my Infiniti to CarMax on 3/23. IFS took almost a month (4/19) to post the payment. Then, the account didn’t close until last Friday (5/14). For all those that feel they lost X dollars due to the change in policy, at least you didn’t have to deal with this headache and you still have the car. For 2 months, I didn’t have the car plus I ended up making a extra payment on a car I don’t have, to avoid the hassle of dealing with them reporting me late to the credit agencies. Never again.

This is pretty much bullshit. I was ready to sell and they change the rules?

You should have seen the indignant people on airplanes over the past 12 months who found out the hard way that the contract of carriage didn’t guarantee everyone a free Diet Coke, or the right in Economy to pay $11 for a can of Miller Lite.

As it turns out, the beverage service is a courtesy.

I am having the same issue trying to sell my 2019 QX50.

ALgo told me they don’t work with Nissan Infiniti either

Just tried suing them for lemon law and let me tel you, theyre scumbags!!! After 6 leases with Nissan Infiniti, i will never do business with them and discourage anyone from doing business with them.

There should be no issue with selling your qx50 to algo or anyone else after you purchase it from Infiniti.

This is the part phone reps at Infiniti Financials are referencing to. Needless to say there is nothing there on who can purchase the car…

What do you mean?

I’m just trying to understand what you mean by it not specifying who can buy the car, unless you were being facetious

Infiniti Financials are saying that the contract allows them to decide who can buy the car, they’ve referenced this part of contract to me today and we spend some time reading it to each other with phone rep. I still fail to see where it prohibits 3rd party to buy it or even Infiniti to decide who can buy the car…
Basically they are trying to force people to sell cars back to Infiniti dealers.

I mean it pretty clearly says “You” have the right to buy the car according to those terms. A 3rd party is not “you”.

“3rd party” is not “you”. Yet it doesn’t say they can’t buy the car.
Guess we need to wait till some lawyer will be denied a bayout by 3rd party…

It also doesn’t say you can’t sell the bank’s office buildings.

I think this has been mentioned before, but if you’re looking to get into a new car, one workaround is finding a dealership under the same umbrella as an Infiniti dealership.

I did this last week, found a dealership about 1.5 hours away, drove up & “sold” my '18 Q60 with 6 months left on the lease, excess mileage and 3 deferred payments, for significantly above the buyout amount, and picked up my new Stelvio at the Alfa Romeo dealership right next door

My IFS account was closed today, exactly a week after dropping off the car.

We just sold a leased QX50, with 14 months left on the lease, to Auffenberg Motors near St. Louis. They took the vehicle no problem - they obtained the 10-day and off we went with a new, beautiful CX-5 Signature! Even got a couple thousand in equity!

Explain how they obtained the 10 day?

Probably fairly easily:
