Any decent large SUV deals out there?

,

We are coming out of a Traverse lease and need another large family hauler here in NJ. A quick look tells me overall the lease deals don’t look great on Traverses and even larger SUVs like Tahoes, Expeditions, etc.

I even got a quote for over $800 a month on a Kia Carnivale. LOL.

Not as many good lease options for larger 3 row vehicles. You’re in NJ so you might find a good lease on an EV if that works for you. The EV9 is probably the best 3 row lease value right now.

As a family hauler we need it for long trips and prefer gas. We have a Blazer EV that we love but planning stops on long trips to charge for 30-45 minutes isn’t ideal.

We prefer to have one gas and one EV in our household.

Probably not as big but what about a CX90? Idk much about it though other than it’s 3 rows and leases pretty well due to the PHEV.

Not much cargo space in the CX90.

We went from an odyssey to a pathfinder definitely not as much room, but we cut our payment in half from financing to leasing. Any other 3 row than an expedition/suburban etc with people and cargo, you could look at a hitch and a cargo rack. That’s what we did and it’s working out ok so far.

Full size SUVs rarely lease well . I haven’t seen any under $1k effective . For that kind of money , I would rather get a GLS or x7.

There are a lot of Cadillac XT6’ on the lots and some qualify for $2500 Demo rebates and you get an additional $1000 Costco rebate until the end of the month… They lease pretty good for 2 yrs when you can scrounge up to $7k in rebates,. It’s a little shorter than your traverse but a lot more luxurious and loaded. I just got one and love it. My deal is in Signed

Palisade?

What about QX80?

The new qx80s are nice but options make it expensive (poor lease)

Infiniti QX80 may be your best option. There are brokers/dealers on this forum that serve your area.

QX80s seem pricey.

Best bet might be another traverse or even a Telluride (and compromise a bit on trunk space).

Are you only looking at the MSRP on the QX80 or published deals on this forum?

Also if you haven’t drive a grand Highlander platinum hybrid max or tx500h it is surprisingly functional. Don’t get the 550

This is a segment that simply doesn’t lease well once you’re past the size of the CX90 (and XC90 which is moot right now since the December deals are gone).

Your best bet is to buy a Pilot or G Highlander; you’ll come out way ahead of shitty leases like the Traverse and Tahoe etc.

Why don’t you tell us what your budget is?

Pilot EX-L should be approximately $550+ monthly tax. I leased Pathfinder nine months ago for $450 per month. QX60s are under $600.

I don’t qualify for the various rebates like loyalty and conquest thus pushing the monthly up.

We currently are at 530 for our Traverse RS.

I could go to 650, maybe 700 which obviously keeps us out of the Tahoe/Expedition range. I like the new Traverses and Acadias which have nice trunk size. Maybe Telluride which has a slightly lower trunk size.
