Any advantage to leasing a vehicle on NYE

I received an email from my local Cadillac dealer about markdowns before the end of the year. I’m in the 2nd month of a month to month extension on a Cadillac lease. Anyway, curious if there really is an advantage to walking in new years eve, and attempting to get a deal.

email: “We have a BIG 3 Day Sale on all in stock new/used vehicles. Whether you already joined us in our showroom or just called in for information, let’s take another look at your quote. To everyone looking at this for the first time, let’s get started. We will be open on New Year’s Eve from 9am-3pm.”

The service department won’t be open the next day in case there’s a problem with the car.

You have been marketed-to. You are allowed to ignore it.

Probably not. What vehicle are you interested in?

looking for another XT4.

That is a good email. I am stealing it for myself and tweak it a little.

Make the dealer an offer, then. They will either say yes or no.

I’m in a reasonably good position. Still 5 months left on the lease extension. I would be ready to ground the vehicle tomorrow on the spot. But we will see. Will update this thread as needed.
