Iāve seen a major shift in Ioniq 5 availability here in NJ, which I associate with the pending loss of access to the federal rebate. All of a sudden, I can have my choice of Limitedās for Sept delivery from multiple dealersā¦ The SE and SEL are still hard to get because they are under the NJ ChargeUp MSRP limit.

Its fine, really. You did what anybody else would. Its just that weāve had issues around here in the past where one person posts a problem and 20 others jump up and down screaming for absolutely no reason. So I was just trying to head that off. No offense to your credibility at all. Hearsay can be a tricky thing, thatās all. Regardless of our best intentions, details get lost in translation. Iām very glad it was resolved quickly, and I very much appreciate you posting to let us know.

Hey Andy just sent you a text, looking for a Tucson for my mom. Was also looking for an Ioniq 5 for myself but woof on those. Although maybe more will pop up now that the EV credit has changed, weāll see. Hyundai was keeping the EV credit anyway on leases, right?

September 2022 Update:
Hello friends of LeaseHackr.
First, on a serious note, my deepest condolences to the Hyundai customer that was shot in the leg last week by an employee at a Hyundai dealership in Ohio. No car deal is worth anyoneās life, and itās good to hear that the injuries are not life threatening. I can confirm that the Hyundai dealership involved in shooting the customer was not in my partner dealer network. It is my firm belief that any escalation can be handled before it reaches the point of weapons drawn in the showroom.
For anyone that is concerned about buying or leasing a new Hyundai from a dealership that allows sales personnel to carry, I am happy to assist with zero-contact e-signing & delivery options. It is unacceptable for anyoneās life to be threatened when attempting to buy or lease a new Hyundai, and I am happy to do anything I can in the interest of your safety.
Thank you to everyone that has brought this unfortunate incident to my attention.

I work with both types of Hyundai stores! A lot of this comes down to location and ownership.
If a customer doesnāt want to go into a Hyundai store where the staff is packing, I can accomodate that request.
Thatās really all Iām saying.
The mechanics of how Iād accomodate it would depend on the customerās location and the specific vehicle.
Basically delivery & e-signing vs redirecting to a dealership with a no-gun policy.
Customer safety and comfort is the priority. If a customer has a preference, I will oblige!
