Am I missing the 7500 tax credit in this deal?

Working a deal in Georgia. I dont see the tax credit on the calculator. Should I add that as a discount under selling price?

The tax credit does not go under sale price.
The tax credit on a lease is given to the lessor (bank) not to lessee (you). Some companies pass down the credit in the form of incentives/rebates, inflated residual, or other favorable lease terms.

So basically, you can forget about the tax credit and just make sure you get all the incentives/rebates.

Since you didn’t say the brand.

Some do not give 7500, some give less.
Some do not give it at all, and give a higher RV.

Cadillac. Optiq lease.

Got it. So on the dealers website it lists the $7500 tax credit. However on the leasehackr member calculator it does not show up.

GM raises the RV and gives $0 in regards to the $7500 in regards to Leases.

Buying the $7500 is still there, but I’m not sure if it qualifies for tax rebate 30D

Got it so they don’t pass it on except to the extent that it is reflected in the high RV

Correct.

There’s a big RV drop from 24 to 36 mo. Is there a reason you want to lease for 36 mos?

No I can do 24. In my calculator 36 was slightly less than 24 when the one pay is amortized on a monthly basis.

Yes, GM sets the residual high in lieu of giving you a line item $7500 Rebate
