Alright Hackrs. Analyze this lease.. 2017 Wrangler Unlimited

Okay guys so here is the offer they brought me for a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Sport…: what do you guys think? Let’s get this number down! I’m in Colorado by the way.

Vehicle Price: $36,790
Preferred customer discount: $1916.00
Subtotal: $34,874
Fees: $551.20
Options: $599****(see below)
Taxes: $3057.62
Total Price: $39,081.82

0 down: $387-397 42 months

Residual 69% 42 months
Residual 70% 36 months

MF: .00231

  1. Just noticed they added a 600 dollar option in a protection package… don’t need that… so that can go

  2. I’m not sure why the taxes are showing as 3k cause shouldn’t those be what’s included in the payment and not applied to the total price?

  3. Also 42 months is not a good lease IMO. will need to bring that down of course.

Well the problem with this car is that Jeep does not offer rebates for it based on my understanding. Also, discounts are not significant. To properly analyze the deal we do need residual, money factor, and how much you paying in drive offs costs and what they consist of. Please review the forum rules.

Sorry. Edited… included what was missing

FWIW, I’ve heard those hold their value very well and, therefore, are likely better for purchase than lease especially in light of the astronomical money factor, unless you have a business purpose for a lease.
