Alfa Romero Giulia AWD sport w/ sun package question, need help! NY/LI

Went in to a local dealer by me, they’re advertising inventory on their website showing this:

$47,635
MSRP
$7,200
Discount*
$40,435

Term 24 months, 12k miles per year.

When I use the lease calculator, im getting like 260 per month… so I think I’m doing it wrong lol

When I went in to speak with a sales person, he came back with an all in price of $469 per month. Wouldnt budge, didnt seem to care to much.

He stated this was all in, only thing out of pocket was First month + dmv.

$469 seems high, is there room to go lower? I tried another location and they dont have the vehicles I want only Ti’s.

Term/miles/state ? Taxes included ?

Sorry about that 24 months, 12k miles per year NYS. Everything rolled in, first month and dmv out the door.

For the 260 problem, sounds like the calculator reset to 36 months. Make sure it is set to 24 months.

so is $469 a decent price? or is there more room to negotiate?

Paste the link to the calculator so we can see where the typo might be.
Where in NYS are you ? You can’t find another dealer with the options you want in a 100 mile radius ?
Any reason why you don’t want a Ti Sport ? It already includes the heated seats and nicer wheels.
It’s under 1% with taxes included. How much less are you looking for ? 5$, 50, 100 ?

The two dealers within like 75 miles both dont have the sport awd Giulia, only the TI. Also the dealer near me shows $7200 in rebates and the dealers further away are only showing 0-$4200 in rebates.

The guy didnt let me walk out with anything in writing, didnt give me MF %.

Just an out the door first month and dmv at $469.

So to recap 24 months 12k miles per year.
MSRP $47,635 - $7200 in rebates = $40,435 Adjusted price and the Residual he said was 60% for 24 months.

Based on his random number of $469 per month, is there room to get the price lowered?

The $469 I got quoted was for the lower model, not the TI, the salesmen made it seem like the TI would be more expensive than the $469 per month.

LI is really not competitive. You’ll have to expand your radius if you want a good deal.

Not trying to break chops too hard, but “Alfa Romero Julia” might have just replaced “Camero” and “Infinity” as the best automotive name butchering out there right now.

Alpha Stevia sounds a lot sweeter.

See my comments on other threads. TI has 3-4% lower residuals (dont ask me why) than base/sport, and thats’ why their leases are slightly worse. That being said, I got my Giulia in social for 12k miles for a 44.5k msrp car for $450 on the dot. So you have some room.

FYI, I know I fucked up some part of the rebate, so I know I could have been lower so don’t take my price as the bottom.

Well, $469 on a $47.6k MSRP is better than $450 on $44.5k MSRP. So not sure why the latter means there is room to move on the former.

OP, I agree that the deal you were offered is not bad considering it is under the 1% rule. It would be nice to have all the details, though. Maybe give him a call to let him know you are serious (if you are) and ask he give you the numbers over the phone.

He’s asking about AWD not RWD.
Ally rates last month.
2017 AWD Base and AWD Ti have the same residual
2018 AWD Base and AWD Ti - 1% drop but the MF is much better and makes up for it.

Thank you for the help guys!

I still don’t understand how in my case, my MF comes out to be 0.00008 when I back calculate it.

Try contacting Fullerton Alfa Romeo in nj. I just leased a 54940 stelvio for 567 a month with zero down.
Rob long or Scott are good people. I tried leasing in Long Island, but Westbury Alfa Romeo is the last place you would want to go. Irresponsible and seems that they do not need your business. I tried chasing them for 2 weeks and finally gave up.

Oh nice, yeah I know, I called the Westbury one and spoke with the sales manager. He was quoting me in the mid 500’s for the same car (47k msrp) over the eastern location. Honestly, It seems like all alfa dealers are a complete joke to deal with, they make Hyundai and Kia dealers look like Mercedes as far as service goes lol

I’m trying to get my payment around $400-$450 which is not to far off.

That’s not bad, that’s around or a little over the 1% rule, not for nothing but these alfa cars seem to lease like Audi’s. Problem is they’ve only been here for a little over a year, so the residuals are low.

Ford Excape. Alpha Romero. Kia Stringer

Time for self reflection.
