No idea about acq fee
Is it possible it just hasnât updated yet? Itâs only May 2nd, and I canât see the Tariffs effect impacting a 2024 slow selling model. This kills the deal if $2500 in bonus cash and the $1000 in conquest is gone. The Tonale was a nice car for a cheap lease, but if the price jumps by close to $100/mo itâs not nearly as great.
Yeah itâs not looking good for keeping the 3500 I had a dealer say itâs gone. Acq fee still 995. Hopefully calc will update soon to confirm. There were no Edmundâs posts when I checked earlier.
The calculator is not updated, sure. Cutting cash and raising RV due to tariffs makes sense to me. Volvo has also cut cash before officially advertised 4/30 date.
Alfa site is only showing the $7250 or whatever. No mention of lease cash. A bit surprised they would do this for 2024 models, I would totally expect it for 2025. I suppose I just donât want it to be true since it especially kills the mechanics on a 27mo lease. Will sit back and wait I guess.
Longer term, if there are shortages with price increases, itâs not necessarily a bad thing. There were surprisingly quite a few solid leases during the Covid shortages if you werenât picky (Nissan and their 95%+ RVs for example)
Checked on Edmunds and no incentives for the 24 Stelvio this month⌠it is a shame otherwise another sub 200 deal on a loaner would be very possibleâŚ
Just got an email with this.
Tonale is on stop sale now but coupon valid for one year. I think it substitutes TDM.
Definitely better than nothing, hope the bonus cash comes back.
Anyone hear anything new on the stop sale?
I hope so also but assume they swapped higher rv for it and wonât get both. I am hearing end of month for hardware fix. One dealer said they will prob extend the lease programs into June due to stop sale but who knows.
Thatâs sadâŚ
Clare called me about another loaner Stelvio, but it is in the 300s w/ 1500 DAS.
Did the âemployee pricingâ offset the loss of lease cash and conquest?
No, it did not. You can get much better selling price and we lost $3,500.
Dealers need to accept that these cars arenât selling and eat the loss themselves then. Theyâre not going to get anywhere near it on the used market.
I had a dealer in SoCal reject my offer . She asked me âwhere are you getting this deal?â
I was offered today a 25 Tonale Tributo Italiano for $540/mo with first DAS. $58k sticker.
I thought the Tonaleâs were on recall like the hornet???
24 are. This is 25.
This is very interesting. They knew how to change/fix it on MY25 but do not know how to do it on MY24 LOL
In the newer â24s, I believe itâs a software update. On the older ones, itâs supposedly might be a new radio. Not sure in the timeline to ship the parts to dealers and get the cars ready to sell again
Got it, but they started production of MY25 back in November, so they knew about that issue since then
Unfortunately for Stellantis safety is not a top priority
