AiM Vehicle Condition report? Please share thoughts

Turing in mt lease to infinity shortly. I am not getting another vehicle from them so I assume I will be paying a disposition fee.

Had AiM come do the below inspection today and the pricing that is shown for “chargeable wear and use” is supposably what Infinity will bill me for.

I can probably change out one tire for a used one with allowed amount of tread to save me some money. However I wanted to ask you guys about the front bumper charge. I am attaching picture as well of the damage. Is that $280 a reasonable cost or should I try to get it repaired myself before turning in?

Thanks in advance.

You aren’t going to have that satisfactorily repaired for $280.

$280 for that is cheap

I would try to buff it out. If that doesn’t work, I would take the $280 charge.

All of that seems perfectly reasonable and a prime example of why it pays to get the inspection done first.

Even on the tire, you’re probably not going to be saving that much by the time you buy/ship/mount/balance even a used tire. I would just pay it and not worry with it.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I appreciate it.

So if I gave $2800 in MSD’s at beginning of lease I would assume they would just subtract this $485 plus whatever the disposition fee is and mail me a check for the difference?

First time I ever did MSD’s so not sure how what process looks like.

Yes, that’s how my Lexus with MSD went except my car was pristine so only disposition fee was deducted from my MSD and remainder sent to me about 3 weeks later.

Thank your lucky stars and run!. No way you could repair that for less than $1K.

That’s a bargain and a half at $280. I would take it and run…

I turned in a Q50 with a MASSIVE dent from taking a turn too tight against a column in a garage. Never got it repaired for two years. Partly out of laziness and I knew it would’ve been thousands of dollars. AIM/Infiniti charged me $680 at turn in.

So happy I never fixed it.

And you are getting a bargain at $280.
