After-Market Parking Sensors on Leased Vehicle

Hi all,
We are looking to get a Lexus NX for a good deal but the model we are looking at is a base vehicle. Its $60 more per month for one with parking sensors because it includes other things that we don’t want.

I was wondering if there is a way to get parking sensors installed (via license plate frame) without drilling holes in the bumper? I definitely need the sensors as they are very convenient when it comes to parking. I love having them on my BMW. Any tips for anyone in So-Cal area who does this type of work would be great.

Thanks

You don’t just want to go with a different model? Might be easier. Is it possible to find an NX with the sensors but without the extra add ons?

Unfortunately, I tried that route, but the car just seems to have more options that way.

chances are they can install as well if an install is actually needed, doesn’t really look like it does

Hi, hate to be bumping this thread again. But we managed without parking sensors on my NX. But I got an MDX now and I really need it to maneuever the car. Any lease-friendly suggestions?

Do you have a rearview camera? I thought they were mandatory after 2018.

All the ones I’ve seen require drilling into the bumper. Whether it gets caught during the lease return inspection? :man_shrugging:t2:

Yes, but its still difficult to park at times.
