It’s all over the place, honestly. Some of the best deals (including PND and broker deals here) are not only first month due at signing.
It was quite a shock when we moved to 2 EVs. My only ICE car today is an Audi TT, so not very practical for family trips.
The IX is fantastic.
Lots of them in here as lease transfers and sometimes really good deals which might be a good choice for you.
I was looking at a similar types of EVs a year ago (GV60 was my top preference). I ultimately went with a Nissan Ariya with the larger battery & evolve trim on a 2yr/10k lease for $350/month. Love it and it brings a smile to my face every time I accelerate up hill on the highway.
Why did you decide on that, which I would consider a lower level, non-luxury (comparatively) car? Because of the price? That does sound like an incredible deal. Nothing down?
What brand? Do you (or anyone in the household) have anything else?
Polestar is a non-starter without $5,000 EV conquest. So is ZDX without its own $4,000 conquest rebate (forgot the years for eligibility, if any).
The ability to do a 5k mile per year Nissan lease is a big benefit for you (as well as very cheap $0.10 cents per mile over).
I got both deals last year and I’m sad to see the GV60 go. One of the best cars I’ve ever had.
They Ariya is also quite good. It didn’t feel like a Nissan at all (that’s a compliment).
Hyundai. Polestar I don’t believe will give the extra $5K to me since it’s not an EV.
The Hyundai conquest does apply for stuff like the Lyriq, apparently.
Why do you say it’s a nonstarter without it?
I couldn’t lease a car knowing the next guy/gal paid $5,000 less without even trying.
Hacking means knowing how to maximize one’s rebates or picking a car that doesn’t require any.
Gotcha. And it’s a fair point. I find that to be a unique situation, though. What’s turning me off more about Polestar 3 is some reported issues. I spoke to one broker (from here) who hid a destination charge for the car and also won’t allow me to stack a state-sponsored rebate. Going to reach out and see if the PND will allow me to do that as it would be an extra $1,500 off the car. If not, I may take Polestar off my list.
I’m struggling to find information/deals on the GV70 Electrified at all. Struggling to find actual good deals on the 2025 I5 Limited. And the Lyriq, I’m making some progress but not much.
I was really trying to push to get this done by end of the month before the tariffs, but now I’m worried I won’t have the time and will get screwed $$$$. Polestar had seemed to be my easiest entry to getting it done fast. Now I’m not sure and getting nervous.
There are Lyrics and Optiqs in the Marketplace for Florida
Also Mercedes EQB and other brands
That’s exactly who I’m talking to about the Lyriq. Only person I’ve seen with a decent offer so far. ![]()
Correct - nothing down. Roughly $9k total cost for two years including taxes and licensing.
That’s great. Thanks for the reply.
All ZDXs have Android Auto, CarPlay, and Android Automotive. I have a Type-S and I was able to lease it for $600mo at the beginning of January.
I can only speak to the Hyundai, because we pulled the trigger on the SEL trim, one below the limited. Agree with you on the spectrum it lands on the luxury curve as being towards the bottom, that said we absolutely love the vehicle and how functional it’s been for our family. It’s surprisingly larger inside than you realize.
The dual motor is delightfully quick, and faster than all the other cars on your list. The UI in the cockpit is well thought out.
A few cons, it weirdly doesn’t have comfort features my 2016 VW has, tech that should be expected as a mid trim, no automatic windshield wipers and no articulating headlights, both things I’ve been accustomed to coming from an older vehicle. Also no touchless boot activation.
Small nit, its pretty common, if that bothers you. I’d have preferred the vovlo recharge or polestar for that point.
And to your budget, we were able to lease the SEL trim for much under your number, we got close to 350/m with 0 down, back in October.
Yeah all of what you said makes sense, and I appreciate the reply. I test drove the limited yesterday and very much liked it, but it is indeed a tier lower than the other cars … yet pricing out similarly right now.
It makes it difficult for me to pull the trigger on the Ioniq at $7,332 per year (best offer I’ve gotten so far) when the Polestar is $7,860 and especially when the Lyriq is $7,452.
I wouldn’t pay that much. Thanks to this forum I was able to negotiate a great deal. The SEL models have better incentives than the limited TBH.
Yeah that seems to be the case, but the limited trim is the only one that gets me interested in it. Sucks for me.
The brokers you’re talking to can’t get a Lyric below $600 a month?
The Polestar is a non-starter without conquest
