Advice Please - 2020 Range Rover Velar Lease

Hi Folks,

New poster here, hope you are all well, and thanks in advance for the help. Apologies in advance if I am being naive in any way, but everyone seems to be pretty empathetic :slight_smile:

I am looking at leasing a 2020 Velar P250 with some options, and was curious on where to negotiate lower pricing, and what to focus on.

It would be 12K miles a year on a 2020 Velar with a $64K MSRP and a price of $63,344 quoted by the dealer. The lease would be for “0 down, not even first payment or doc fees (which is $698)” according to the JLR dealer.

24mo: 1,247/mo - MF 0.00125 - Resid. 40,418
33mo: 831/mo - MF 0.00015 - Resid. 39,756
36mo: 806/mo - MF 0.00021 - Resid. 38,430

$0.30 per mile if you go over.

Where would you negotiate, and what do you think would be a reasonable monthly payment? They initially quoted me $740 on a 39 month lease.

I checked out the LH calculator, and was given ~$692 as a payment on a pre tax basis out of North Carolina for a 36 month lease.

For data, your RV is very wrong.

36/12k is 56%, 39/12k 55% for r dyn.

For non r dyn. It’s 36/12 58%, 39/12 57%.

MF makes it look like a s non r dynamic base MF.

I’d reach out to Land Rover Buckhead in Georgia. I’ve read good things about them from other LHs, but I’ve never looked into them myself. According to a post last month, “Hennessy Buckhead (Atlanta) has been going crazy lately,” so its definitely worth a shot with them

Correct, it is a non R Dynamic 2020 Velar.

+1, I’ve worked with them on vehicles before and they’re very friendly and offer some of the best deals I’ve seen around
