Thoughts on this lease deal? 2024 Acura MDX Advance. 48/7.5 miles
I feel like there’s some incentives baked into that discount, you need to seperate incentives from dealer discount. 48 mo might not be the best term either
Hmmm… they said 2000 for lease loyalty and 2000 flex cash
Just looked at your calculator again and see the incentives, the discount is good. What was the 36mo payment? Is 7500 miles a year going to enough for you?
I believe payment was like 2 or 3 dollars a month difference and residual was 8% higher.
Then 36 months is the way to go.
Mileage should be fine since we are comfortable keeping the car if mileage becomes an issue. We were also considering financing, but we lose the lease loyalty rebate.
But is that correct for the incentives or are there others buried in there?
Honestly I am not sure, but the due at signing is 7000
4000 in rebates and 3000 from me. I think if more were baked into the discount it would show in the due at signing?
Then get sure.
Step back from talking to dealers and put together a well researched target deal.
Everything else is a waste of your time. You have to know where you’re trying to get to if you want to be able to effectively negotiate.
Just checked Edmund’s forum for this car and maybe they pocketed an extra $500. For my area it shows 2500 dealer cash and the loyalty rebate
And how about the rest of the target deal?
Don’t lease to buy, doesn’t usually make sense. And don’t undershoot the miles, setup for what you need, if something happens to the car and you decide you don’t want to keep it, you won’t get nailed with over mileage fees. I’d go 36 mo if the payment difference isn’t much, why keep it a year longer if the payment is the same, move on to another lease.
Ever. If you did the math and miles are not cheaper to buy at disposition, get all the miles you expect you will need up front. If you need more miles than you can lease, don’t lease.
Would it make more sense in this specific situation (MF is fairly low, and OP says that there is a lease-only rebate)?
There might be retail incentives and or rates too, if they plan to purchase that’s the route to go. Never lease with not enough miles then something happens and you don’t want to buy it and get stuck with a giant mileage bill at the end. Would never do 48mo either, kind of defeats the purpose of leasing.
There was definitely a lease only rebate on the dealer side because the first quote he gave me was as follows: so if you purchase vs lease you lose $4500 in incentives. The loyalty only applies to leases.
- MSRP $65,450
- Purchase price $60,450 + Fees.
- Lease price $57,995
Acura currently offers loyalty or conquest up to $2000 toward your down payment if you are qualify
Current APR special is 3.9 for 60 months
