I’m close to signing this deal and wanted to hear if that’s alright. Coming from Edmunds & Co. this should be decent enough. Civics and Mazda 3’s (both Hatchbacks) in the area are all more expensive, most dealers don’t have decent inventory anymore. It’s the Forte GT with 201hp, not the smaller model.
Final price should be $270/month incl. tax and $0 DAS. The dealer confirmed no other costs are coming in and that it’s with tax.
Any last words? Any other deals I should focus on? I need a new 2nd car (sold the other one) and wanted a Hatchback, but it’s super hard to get a decent price right now.
Got a black 2021 Forte GT, MSRP $24,080. 36/12K, $2000 total drive off, $194/mo (9.5% tax included). Went to 3 dealerships. Both Cerritos and Carson reneged on the pre-negotiated deal and didn’t seem to care one bit when I walked out. Van Nuys honored the deal they quoted earlier, but this was on a car in stock that was sitting on a lot for a while. They said they would not do this deal for another color or car.
That sounds like a great deal at about $250/month. Cerritos didn’t want to go below $290 and I couldn’t go into multiple dealerships, I did everything via email.
Sealed the deal for the white Forte GT today for $270/month incl. tax and $0 DAS at Kia of Irvine. It was the last they had without the GT2 package which I didn’t want to pay for. At least I got the first service for free haha
My friends just got K5 GT for $280 and $290 last month (Two different friends). I know that market is crazy but you should try for K5 unless if you really want the Forte.
