7500 miles per year leases

Why do so many of the leases in the Deals section show 7,500 miles per year? This is way too low for most drivers. I think 10,000 or 12,000 should be the minimum.

Almost all deals posted here on the forum and as PNDs can be had with higher mileage upon request to the broker. They are generally advertised with the lowest mileage possible since the lowest payment will attract the most people.

Brokers rightfully advertise at the lowest total price without taxes (which cannot be known of course as they vary between person to person and location to location). This makes perfect sense because it is a baseline that has a minimum along with a broker fee if any.

No broker or other businesses is going to advertise a mid-level price that has variance up or down, or a max level as well. That makes no sense to someone reviewing the deal or for the broker.

Any data to back this up or simply your point of view?
