I am sure this has been asked and answered already, but I can’t seem to locate an answer when using the search function. Is the $7500 tax credit dead for the remainder of 2022? For example, if I walk into a dealership tomorrow and buy/lease an EV already on the lot, is the $7500 tax credit available? I understand many of the caveats and stipulations in the new bill take effect in 2023, but I wasn’t sure what it meant for sales/lease contracts signed after the bill was signed but before 2023.
