I was looking at a listing for a used Alfa quad and got a pop up ad to for a $50 gift card after test driving a Ram. I checked a local dealer to me for Rams and got the same offer but for Jeeps.
In any event, check your local Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealer website for the offer -
Hey I wanted to drive the new Forester and outgoing Outback: $65. I want to see what Hyundai’s lineup is like in case someone asks, $50. Even more fun to do at the LA and SD auto shows (more to drive, and more paid offers).
@carhack I saw it on Hyundai website and decided to try it out. Went to the dealer yesterday(Fremont ) after the test drive of an Ioniq, they told me they won’t honor the gift card… he told me non of the Hyundai dealer in Bay Area will…
Have you emailed Hyundai customer service? Or reached out on social media? It’s pretty bad marketing to have the manufacturer spending money to promote that, getting bodied in the door and then dealers don’t honor it.
The only problem with this, is it requires you to go to an fca dealer. That requires at least one shower afterward and you have to make sure they don’t throw your keys on the roof
A couple of years ago I responded to a similar offer from Cadillac.
I made an appointment and showed up about 5 minutes early.
I left after almost 30 minutes because the guy I made the appointment with was nowhere to be found, and there was no one else available to show me a car.
I went home and did some digging, here’s what I found:
When locate a dealer, non of the NorCal one shows “test drive offer”, most of the SoCal do. So guess jokes on me… didn’t do enough homework…
They shouldn’t have the pop up in the area where no one is offering this…
The Hyundai dealer in Modesto helped make this happen. His name is Greg. He said it’s a personal hobby getting people their $50. He also said you can get one every 6 months. If you bring your spouse, use different addresses and you both can get one.
