For anyone who might be on the fence before the end of the year, GM is giving a 50,000 point bonus to Rewards members when you purchase or lease a new EV between now and 1/3/25 ($500 value). They suggest using it towards a Level 2 charger but you can use them on whatever you like.

If I sign up for the GM rewards card to get that $500 rebate, would I still qualify for this 50,000 point rebate?

In world of credit card churning . This is luke warm offer at best.
The reward points are from GM. You don’t have to have a GM credit card to sign up for My GM Rewards. It’s just a loyalty program that can be linked to your credit card if you have one.
Sorry if my question seems stupid but what card has more than $500 in bonus for signing up? I could use a new one and I saw offers that seemed to be around $200-$300

I got a bonus offer from PNC for my business. Deposit $2k and have 20 transactions in 3 months and get $400
Is there an official GM link for this? My sales guy does a ton of EVs and he doesn’t see anything internally for this.
I closed a deal on equinox ev few days before the email and got 50k points to my surprise.
Can confirm that I got New GM card incentive of $500 and $500 in CC points.

There is nothing to do to get it. They decide who to send. Just check your junk folder time to time.
