3 Row SUV Search

I’m just glad I could trade my Tundra at a reasonable price… it’s like catching a knife right now.

He sells Mercedes.

BTW what gives off more of a old-person vibe… Mercedes or Toyota?

congrats. My family is dealing with the same issue. With only two kids we get by okay with an x5 but would like the 7. But the realty is- the x5 works well for us 90 percent of the time. If I really need big, I have a pickup or we could always rent something.

We have a 2020 Traverse and it fits our family of 5 quite well. Got a great lease deal 3 years ago. We are now in the market for another 3 row SUV. We hit a bump with the new Traverses (2023, not the new version coming out in 2024).

They dumped the rear park assist off all their Traverses. Something about a hangover from the chip shortage so they just ended up not installing them in Traverses made after a certain date. My wife was like hell no, she needs the beep beep beep. LOL.

We looked at the Armada/QX90 and yeah, I was surprised how small it felt.

A truck-based (body on frame) SUV like an Armada is always going to less space inside than a unibody of similar exterior size.

Chevy leases are trash rn anyways so either buying your existing lease or buying a 2024 may make more sense.

Chevy leases are definitely trash now. We likely will buy out the lease and see what the 2024 looks like when it starts hitting dealerships or we will just go in another direction. I really don’t want to own a Chevy… haha.

I’m still trying to figure out who in the USA actually wants to own a Chevy hah. GM is probably still trying to figure out too.

GM’s share has kind of flattened out around 15% in the periods after this chart.

The Tahoe and Suburbans will be nice especially for long road trips. I rather sit up high up in a Suv then a sedan, but I’m not so sure how reliable they are.

Definitely agree but doesn’t it make a lot more sense just to rent one when the time comes for a long road trip and not have to deal with insurance and taxes the rest of the year?

Great… looks good

Some questions

  1. is this certified pre owned from dealer ? Did you buy or lease ? ( I heard it’s better to lease German cars )

  2. what website you used to search to find this car?

  3. how much warranty left ? Did you buy extra warranty? If yes from where and how much does it cost ?

Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t.

I still can’t believe US Taxpayers are helping people into $100k+ MSRP German lux-EVs. Leases on German cars is so cool.
