25' Infiniti QX60 Deal Check

Hi Again!

Replacing our Infiniti QX80 with a 25’ Infiniti QX60 Luxe with the Vision Package (HUD, AFL headlights, Digital Mirror).

The car’s MSRP is $62,580 and I managed to get 7% off (tried 8% at another dealer on the Sensory model and they wouldn’t budge). I played it safe and they agree to it so my negotiated price is $58199. I’m going to do a 3year / 12k a year lease. Infiniti has $950 in lease cash, $1000 in Winter Bonus and $1500 loyalty. I plan to sell them my QX80 and take a portion of the proceeds and put them into maxing out the MSD’s to lower the payment which is 9. That takes my original MF from 0.00193 or 4.63% down to 0.00103 or $2.47%. I’m in Illinois, Will County so I think my tax is 7.25%.

The deal I got shows me paying 5816.12 which includes $4500 for the MSD’s (seems that is incorrect per the calc?) and the doc fee of $358, first payment $607.09 and some mystery charge. It’s not lining up with the calculator. Why would they only charge me $4500 for the security deposits when the calculator says $6300? I wonder if he did 6 MSD’s instead of 9?

Here is my calculator with 9 MSD:

Here it is with 6 MSD:

Planning to go there tomorrow to do the deal and welcome all comments, how am I doing?

I pay 480 a month for 36/15 with full MSDs and TX tax for the exact same package, feels like you still have some room to negotiate. Find another dealer

Reach out to @integrityauto - he might be able to be at those numbers. You would need to pick the car up from the East Coast, but might be worth it for the lower payment.

Bought it. Finding a lux with vision package in the right color combo to make the wife happy was tough. Found it at two dealers two dealers and no one would go lower than 7% below msrp. I got 522/mo with maxed out msd and I paid the tax, acquisition, doc and player fees up front because I traded in the 19 qx80 and got 25k for that. I didn’t use any of the qx80 money for cap cost reduction, just for the tax etc and to fund the $6750 in msds. 3yr lease. 12k a year.

we’ll match this deal without msd

Looks like they messed up the paperwork and it was rejected by IFS. They had overcharged me by 900 on the msd’s. They based them on the zero drive off m, no msd price rounded up (750). They said they should have been based on zero drive off including the msd price rounded up (650). So they are now $5850 and I’ll get a check back for 900. Oddly the payment changed from 522 to 493. Nothing else changed so I signed the updated paperwork and didn’t argue.
