24’ Wrangler 4xe Sahara Issues after leaving lot

,

Just picked up my truck. Had 60 miles on it but all paperwork had 39 miles listed and I caught it. Driving back a few states away and the truck seems to be jumping a lot after driving about 90 miles. I got off the highway for food and every time I was at a light or stopped the entire truck was jumping non stop. What could this be? Find it kinda suspicious that paperwork was done then they drove it another 21 miles. I live 3 states away so going bank isn’t an option, I was told to bring it to my local dealer to have them check it. Did PDI when I picked it up but I drove 187 miles and no check engine lights came on.

The mileage discrepancy is not that big a deal; happens especially when that was the last recorded mileage and it’s been on several test drives (21 miles is NBD). If it’s off by hundreds of miles, that’s a different story.

Can you describe what you mean by “jumping”? You step on the gas and the car lurches forward, then stops? It shudders when you’re at a stop, with foot on brake pedal?

You didn’t have these problems when test driving it?

It’s not that big a deal unless it was done to reset the check engine light. No issues then. It’s almost as if the transmission is slipping is the best way to explain it. Happens whether I’m driving or if I am sitting still holding the brake. It’s worse in hybrid mode, it’s almost like the hybrid part of the car doesn’t want to work.

Open the hood, locate the fuse box (should be on the drivers side) and make sure all of the fuses are fully seated. Press down on each and every fuse until you hear a “click”

Common issue with Jeeps to have loose fuses not seated properly from factory and it’s usually skipped over during the PDI .

Curious what this is. Can you post a video when you have a moment?

That should work.

Thank you I’ll try this.

THANKKKK YOUUUU!! Saved me a trip to the dealership. Pulled over on the cross island and checked them almost all of them were loose. I seated them all and it hasn’t jolted in about 15 minutes. I wish the dealers would do this during the delivery.

awesome, glad to hear its resolved!

Spoke too soon. It’s still jolting. Now I’m wondering if one of fuses blew during me driving it all the way home.

Dang. I recall seeing someone post about the same issue you noted in the video previously, I’ll see if I can find it.

If you’re sitting at a light and put it in neutral, does it stop doing it? I want to say my 2021 did this for a bit when I first got it, but it’s been so long I honestly can’t recall 100%.
