Willing to bet it’s another high end EV with low sales numbers. Amirite @HersheySweet ?

It’s going to turn out to be a high sticker, high in-demand car for $600 a month lol

That Ioniq6 is gonna be a candidate. They managed to make it uglier than the EQS.

My guess would be some sort of Volvo with a plug or the outgoing MY23 E-tron SUV…

My guess is Mini Electric Hardtop 2 Door

Well, me thinks it needs to be something that can be also used as a loaner, not sure if the Mini EV is a good service loaner candidate

Heh. Not sure Mini EV is good anything candidate

Not a contender, no lease options but a balloon looked interesting if I could find a desirable rate and it qualified for fed.

They already don’t make enough to meet demand.

It’s essentially a reskinned i3, speaking of which I wouldn’t be surprised to see a new iteration of as a lower cost option out of BMW.

Do you hate other brokers on this forum so much ? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Drove the EQS yesterday.

Interior packing is not as efficient as other EVs in this segment. I was expecting more interior space for a such a large platform with long wheelbase. Driving characteristics is on par with ICE S-class with a learning curve on the pedal reactions. Something tells me that the mechanical engineers didn’t see eye to eye with the interior designer at all. Rear passenger space is limited to people under 6ft tall. Anyone taller will rub the headliner but you can slouch with all the legroom in the world.

As an EV the mechanical qualities are behind the others in the same space. It’s main advantage over other competitors is its ability to provide typical S-class ambience.

Hope this helps with your desire to chase these jelly beans.

I am just really confused how people are getting these deals…seems like a good amount of people are getting them for sub 600/month, but when I go to the manager they tell me to take a hike? I really don’t get it…

Wrong manager at the wrong dealer.

Keep trying.

But is it still possible? I don’t want to waste my time if it’s just not possible. Seems like all dealerships are out of loaners now…assuming pricing on a new 2022 isn’t as strong.

I have been driving EVs for a while and almost always use one pedal driving so the EQS didn’t feel weird at all. However, if you are slamming on the brakes you have no idea where the bite point is and it’s a little disconcerting.

Apparently there are still some 2022 loaners to be had, but you have to do your homework as in anything in life. If you don’t want to spend the time to find those remaining 2022 mules nationwide, then you should just focus on the 2023 models. Looks like some people are getting close to 30% off without a huge amount of trying:

The weird adaptive regenerative braking in the EQS has gotten negative reviews by media. I seen some refer to it as the most unnatural braking system felt in any vehicle. It goes beyond normal regen braking in most EVs.
