2026 Toyota Rav 4

Any idea on how pricing is gonna work?

When does Honda respond with the CR-V Type R? :joy:

50 miles electric range for the PHEV is nice.

Interior looks cheap, but then this is a vehicle for people who need not want.

The car-mag articles also do not have official info on pricing, but MT says that they expect it to start at ~$35K (!!!).

I like the lit tail light design. I think the large protrusions w/ the drive modes on the dash is a wasted opportunity. At least the temp control still have buttons (distant and relative flat though they may be).

I like the interior of the Tiguan much better.

I imagine it’ll continue to be a best seller.

35k for a base rav 4 is nuts

To be fair, it’s hybrid-only. I imagine the must have market data to support the pricing.

But, yes, I think it’s nuts, too.

I imagine pricing is fluid based on… Yeah let’s not get into that. Toyota is definitely not catering to LHs. But you could do worse than buying one. At least you won’t be on here with a 3 year old car that has lost 50% of its value.

Also it’s surprising to me the RAV4 isn’t getting bigger. It’s now a few inches smaller than the CRV. The trend is SUVs get longer and wider then OEMs back fill smaller models behind them. But the RAV4 has basically held steady the past few generations. But it’s now the third best selling vehicle in America so I can’t blame Toyota for not changing what isn’t broken.
