$71465 MSRP, $54729 selling price. 23.42% discount(not 24% ), plus $4500 fleet. Inflated MF but not too bad? 7300 miles but looks great, no issues cosmetic or otherwise.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t ask or negotiate for $0 DAS, I expected first month. I also was told a slightly higher monthly and was happy with that. Unless I am stupid and can’t read my contract(VERY possible) or my bank account, I am pretty sure it ended up as $0 DAS(excluding MSDs).
Congrats! You did get 23%+ off AND $4,500. Now, what was the actual sales tax rate? Lol
P.S. you never had 24%+ because they included $500 fleet in the selling price, but it doesn’t matter - the deal is the same as original.
Also, my thoughts from a former dealer mgr. Your calculator may have been off because they typically have to add back any miles in excess of 5k. So being at 7k miles, the additional 2k was negatively increasing your lease. It’s obviously not a big deal since they discounted it significantly to offset this expense.
You’re correct but things have changed slightly since you were last at the helm.
Mercedes charges a $.20 adjustment per mile over 2,000 miles for almost all models ($1.00 otherwise), and BMW charges a $.25 adjustment per mile over 500 miles for all non-M models ($.30 otherwise). The LH calculator is able to account for this.
I believe some other brands like Genesis charge for every mile on a loaner, and Cadillac will start your lease from wherever the ODO happens to be from what I’ve heard.
