2026 Cayenne auction value

Does anyone have the current auction value for 2026 base Cayenne? The dealer I’m talking to claims it’s $87K but I see a bunch of 2026 Cayennes below $87K in the Porsche finder, so I’m a bit skeptical.

MMR probably in mid $70s.

The options matters a lot with Porsche. A Cayenne with a $90k MSRP is going to retail for a lot less than a Cayenne with a $110k MSRP. If there are sub-$87k Cayennes, they are probably low MSRPs.

That’s the thing that some of the ones I saw are not really low MSRP

What is your source for the MSRP?

Window sticker?

Okay so that’s a good starting point. What are you trying to accomplish with the MMR value? Are you trying to use that for leverage on a CPO deal? Are the auction values you are seeing for the same region or different location. NM. You said Porsche finder, those aren’t auction prices on Porsche website….

I have nothing else going on a Friday night let’s keep this going as your resident Porsche expert.

Thank you as I’m intrigued as well

Also OP, what are the colors and options on this beast? Coupe or standard body? Base cayenne is still always lovable but Porsche messed up with the my24 interior refresh imo. Bring back the physical buttons and actual shifter. SMH

Based on: https://finder.porsche.com/us/en-US/search/cayenne?model=cayenne&position=90210,34.0736,-118.40047,-1&condition=porsche_approved&order=price_asc&minimum-model-year=2026

These under $87k have a MSRP of $99k…I used 90210 for zip since I’m assuming OP is in Cali.

I know without looking what kind of car would possibly fall within those numbers

The dealer was trying to make an argument that whatever I offered for the car was its auction value. I’m not from CA and I have a wider net. Yes most Cayennes under 90K are base AF but thankfully not all.

Maybe what was said was not the implied meaning but I’ll keep going.

So you are trying to get a dealer selling price down on a CPO unit for the best possible lease deal and offered something that was below their threshold. It’s unclear how old this unit is (lot) and why auctioning would come, it sounds like the dealer isn’t interested in your offer so maybe try this approach with another and see if it works? Don’t get fixated on a single unit when hacking.

I just picked up a 2024 cayenne v6 (MSRP $105k) with a sale price of $53k (contract), which may be inline where the MMR is on this suv for the given year. If you are looking to hack a lower build cayenne then you are going to have a hard time getting a decent deal by getting the dealer to discount near MMR plus MF is super high. Trick on these cars is really finding a huge build with a huge discount.

The problem with the huge build with a huge discount is that Porsche limits the value to MRM, so if the MSRP is above the MRM I will apply my target discount off the MRM but the dealer may not be okay with that.

Good luck on your hack. From my search the 2026 CPO residual is trash already hense why I stuck to 2024s that were near 50% off msrp and got one for effective $829 for 2 yrs.
