Hey Fellow Hackr’s!
I’m super excited for the upcoming Cadillac Lyriq V release! I swung by my local dealership, but they didn’t have any solid info on when it’ll be available in showrooms. The sales rep mentioned it’s probably going to be summer.
Honestly, I love the design of the Lyriq. It’s easily one of the best-looking EVs out there right now. It’s comfy, the range is solid, SuperCruise looks pretty useful, and the fact that it’ll be able to use Tesla superchargers is a huge win. I was going to grab one last month, but I needed to get a few things sorted first. Once summer rolls around, though, I’ll be ready to pull the trigger! By the way, the configurator just opened up for this car on the Cadillac website.
Lets talk numbers.
Range: 285 miles
HP: 615
Price: $79,990
0-60: 3.3 seconds
Styling: The Lyriq V doesn’t look that different from the regular Sport 1, which is a bit of a bummer. But there are a few small details that set it apart from the standard version.
What do you all think about this release? Will it be a hackable EV in the future? Did Cadillac waste their time on this?
