2026 BMW iX3 lease launch timing & deal expectations

,

My current lease ends in May, and I’ll likely extend it to July so I can lease iX3 when it launches this summer. I’m set on making it my next lease.

Just had a couple of questions.

When a new model first launches, do leases tend to be hackable right away, or are early allocations usually dealer controlled with limited incentives?

Does anyone know if the M / M60 variants are launching alongside the base model or at a later date?

Any info would be appreciated.

If you are referring to May of this year, I’m pretty sure the iX3 isn’t actually going to hit dealers until early 2027. It’s not entirely clear yet.

No formal info or ordering guides have been released to dealers.

I suspect the lease deals will suck, not due to lack of willingness to discount, but because manufacturers don’t usually heavily incentivize completely new models.

Oh wow I read in a couple of forums that it was launching in july this year.

100!!! Will be awful…

Launching ≠ available at dealers for sale/lease

Early adopters get annihilated. On some cars the payments were half just 6-12 months later

M60 will not reach USA until 2027 at the earliest. Only iX3 50 will be the initial trim level. Production for US models slated to begin this quarter or next with first deliveries “mid 2026”, whatever they means. Several options will be delayed; adaptive suspension delayed until March 2027 at the earliest.

Apparently, in MA, some dealers are taking deposits. Any leads?

Word on the street is that SOP will be delayed 3mos until Sept, due to the overwhelming demand in the EU…but we shall see

I think that’s an iX1…?

It isn’t impossible that I got that wrong.

That’s definitely an X1 :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I guess discerning the difference wasn’t that important at the time, as I don’t want either one.

That was also one of the few times in 9 days it wasn’t raining, so my head was probably somewhere else.

Fair!

Not sure what the point of this would be, other than to make people feel good. There isn’t even an ordering or pricing guide out yet.

Sir, you’re appearing to question some dealers ability to part a fool from his money. Please leave the premises immediately!

when the dealer takes your deposit money for a car that isn't available yet

I bet BMW of Boston will take your money. Herb Chambers are sleeze bags for most part

Given there is no US ordering guide yet, this sounds right.
