Hey, I guess at least they’re trying? (as in, the Acura product isn’t coming out years after the de-contented Honda version)

Old cars always coming back as EVs, smh. Literally nobody is asking for this
Shame on Acura for branding this as an RSX
They could have called it literally anything else
Well, maybe not the Legend…
Honda believes bringing back nameplates is the way to bring in customers. In reality if the product has substance it works, if only namesake then bad.
Type R Civic good.
Slapping type S or A on anything bad.
integra bad
zdx bad
RSX probably bad
civic coupe masquerading as a prelude probs bad.
Wait till the NSX is relaunched as a 7 seat EV only competitor.
I imagine RSX was rationalized as being the coupe-like version of the RDX, while its shared nameplate with the fourth-gen Integra being a bonus to get attention.
It will likely be the same size and price as the ICE RDX.
Definitely a bit letdown as an RSX owner. First hearing the nameplate was coming back had me thinking something else, but EV SUV coupe probably should have surprised me.
Looks ridiculous, they ruined the Mustang to begin with.
They were great as alternatives to your typical Toyota, Lexus, etc.
Once you start getting into sport sedan territory why would anyone want FWD?
honda and acuras really came to the fore front personally not cause they were fast or the epitome of sports car but they were the tuner scene. These were also folks balling on budget.
Body kits, stereos, ground effects, fart can exhausts, those shimmering tints jobs etc.
Toyota at the time was just the beige sales king/lexus was after mercedes with absolute units of machines, while Nissan was trying to sell rebadged Ford Windstars and 4 door front wheel drive sports sedans proudly built in the USA.
