I stand by my opinion. Said the same thing about the XC90 earlier and eventually they had to bite the bullet and put it on fire sale. Not because of my opinion but because the market spoke loud and clear.
Writing’s on the wall for the 60

I agree w you regarding the gas version, but the PHEV is a really good commuter car option, and its price point is very strong. It’s a bit cheaper than the audi and the MB, and it punches far above its weight w power and performance.
The infotainment and interface is light years better than MB and audi’s MMI. My etron has the MMI - my wife has the volvo. I’d trade infotainment any day of the week.
Not only him. I had zero issues with Google os on my 22 xc60.
How is it cheaper than a GLC350e? Those are being sold in the mid 4s to low 5s with inceptions DAS.
I don’t really think the mass market sees much nuance. As a chassis the XC60’s is multiples older than the GLC’s. I don’t see most people seeing past that. I give it a year max before XC60 T8s are sub 4 with inceptions DAS.
Why does this matter? The design has aged well and the tech is competitive. It’s also the perfect size.
Right. It’s Volvo, not Maserati.
Even the diehard Volvo folks coming out of two consecutive XC60 leases, how many want a third of the same bodystyle?
I agree the design has aged well, but that’s the thing. It’s aged. If these things didn’t matter then most luxury automakers wouldn’t be on 6- or max 7-year lifecycles for their body styles.
It’s inevitable that the lease support that the XC90 is getting will have to come for the XC60 too.

Yea, two is enough. 100%. Now time for GLC350e.
