Congrats, Dyer ?

Yes, thank you for the help

I haven’t signed yet. Going tomorrow

Looks like a great deal. Better than 10% discount. Better than some broker advertised deals. As long as you are content with the deal, just enjoy the new vehicle.

Is the 7500 “EV lease bonus” simply a Volvo incentive designed to make up for the fact that the XC90 does not qualify for the federal $7500 incentive?

VCFS qualifies for the tax credit under 45W if it’s leased, so they are passing it on as a lease incentive.

Loophope yes but Maserati Manchin lost his mind and wanted it removed

@Jeremiah_Johnson it’s been discussed many, many times here the past few years if you search :mag:

I wish I could find a deal. Lose tot his. Just inquired about a loan with 5200 miles on it and they tried to hit me at $884/month. :face_with_monocle:

What discount did you get?
Do not ask the dealer how much they want you to pay.
Check what rebates you can get, add 12% off for Loner, and propose the deal.

How does the XC90 qualify for the $7500 since it’s not a BEV?

Volvo isn’t even listed at all in the gov site of eligible vehicles.

Just wanted to check, when you say 2025 is that the one with the new facelift grill / headlights and interior?

I see some people calling them 2025.5 and it’s confusing

There’s 2 different incentive programs. It’s pretty complicated.

He just called me with the number. I don’t think he put much on it for discount. Just the normal rebates. I went about it the wrong way. I was hoping to get a reasonable starting point then bring them down. But when they start at $884 you almost feel like you will get laughed at when you tell them it should be closer to 500.

It doesn’t qualify under 30D but it does qualify under 45W.

The long standing most effective LH method is to start off by giving them your numbers to which they can say yes or no or you guys haggle it out.

Either with a $X DAS / $Y per month or the other way is to do a full template of every single number on it.

Asking the first pencil isn’t going to yield the best result as you can see it’s the “let’s shoot for the moon and see if JayZ bites” method.

Your right there isn’t a way to get $400 less per month if that’s where they started.

Isn’t 45W only for businesses? I guess he could’ve leased it under a business…
