Thanks, let me do that.
Hi! I didnât get mine in GA. I was commenting on OPâs deal.
Gotcha! Thanks for replying.
yea, im tired of the salespeople. i got the same responses from 5 different dealer sales staff saying its impossible what im asking for. meanwhile, there were 100s of them sold like that on here.
What are you offering/asking for, on what trim, and in what regions, with what customer rebates?
Itâs just a numbers game. Dealers arenât going to line up wanting to sell a car at invoice minus holdback & any trunk money. You would likely need to reach out to ~10 dealers before 1 says yes.
Youâre in the midwest, have you reached out to @Benedetto ?
Same as what is in the OP, actually at even $100 more/mo with same discounts. Iâm in NY, so different region. At this point a lot of the supply has dried up, but this was mid-Nov when these deals were still plentiful.
Anyway, I agree with you that 9 out of 10 will just laugh you away. Honestly, just not worth my time dealing with them, will just use a broker with a reasonable fee. The numbers a few of them came back with were over 50% more per month than what is in this deal.
Even if you get the dealerâs info, what makes you think you will be able to get the same deal? FWIW, most dealers might not have much stock of the Plus trim. Even if they do, they are probably not going to offer 12% off MSRP just because someone on this forum got that deal. Most deals posted by other members have been around 9 to 10% off MSRP.
If you need a car this month, I would strongly recommend working with one of the brokerâs in the Marketplace.
As others have mentioned, youâre better off working with a broker now. This particular GA dealer has very little inventory of the XC90 T8 and is unlikely to work a deal with payments in the $3xx to $4xx range.
Just curious and I prefer to deal local and physically see the vehicle unless a broker can give a better deal and assurances if the vehicle arrives damaged.
.As an insurance agent, I have relationships with several dealers throughout GA. Also on my lease about a year ago, I saw an advertisement for a lease deal on an XC90. I had no relationship with that dealer, but contacted the one I do have a relationship with and they basically matched it. Come to find out the advertised deal did not mention that dealer pushes/requires purchasing Lo-Jack, a cleaning service, and something else.
Some brokers deal with multiple dealerships in various locations across the country. Hence, you can always inspect a car before signing any paperwork.
Have you tried leveraging that relationship to try and get a deal?
Do you need a car this month, if not then time is on your side.
Our general advice here is to avoid advertised lease offers, the fine print includes upfronts/CCR. Put together a well researched deal and make that offer to the dealers you have a relationship with, see if they say yes.
Great deal, congrats! Enjoy your ride.
Have tried many dealers in/around Texas and even tried Georgia by phone. They are all just laughing these deals off and Georgia said âtheyâre not doing them anymore.â
Most of these deals were from last month. You probably missed the boat. If you really want an XC90, your best bet is to contact a broker in the Marketplace.
Yea seems to be the case. Getting the same reply that most of these deals were in November, and they canât get the same rate any more.
