2025 Toyota Sienna Limited lease check

I know that these are not lease friendly cars but if one were to lease it, how good/bad is this deal:

36/10k/$5000 out of pocket/$809 per mo.

Thanks in advance!

Haven’t done the math, but how much more would be to just buy it???

You’re at 34k only on the 3 year lease.

Very good point! What would be a reasonable deal to purchase this car given the high demand? When people say you’d be lucky to get it at MSRP is that including or excluding taxes and fees?

I have no idea as I don’t follow the minivan market, but leasing it clearly makes no sense.

It is a 50k car that retains a good value used. Makes no sense to pay 34k to drive it for 3 years.

When someone says that a vehicle can be purchased at MSRP that number is the window sticker and excludes taxes and fees.

That’s a lot for a lease, try shopping around a whole lot within a radius you are comfortable with to see if anyone is willing to go under msrp.

Completely personal opinion I would buy a 2020 base or xle sienna used with low miles and from the south.

I have a pearl on black platinum I can ship to you and also get you $1500 off on after shipping costs. No limiteds but when I do get more Friday I can do around the same discount

You don’t lease the sienna…finance at 4-5% through a credit union. If a dealer won’t let you use outside financing then just refi after you get it. Limiteds and platinums shouldn’t be over msrp. Xse xle and le a lot of dealers are still charging over msrp on.

If you’re in California, there’s a Kia Carnival Hybrid which (somebody slap me) is a decent minivan lease for less DAS and a lower monthly. If you need people space, the Hyundai Palisade, Lexus TX and Mazda CX90 will give you pretty good space for people for less. Even the Grand Highlander Hybrid would be a good option.

I’d compare the three year residual value with a credit union loan and see the payments over 72 months. Three years from you can visit carmax for small refund on your outlay instead of just turning it in.
