2025 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid XSE w/PP | $54k MSRP | 36/10k | $2.5k Discount | $6.5k Rebate | 1st DAS | $581/mo w/tax

,

After calling around to a lot of dealers, I was able to secure the exact car I wanted.
Delivery should be early/mid-July. I plan to buy out this lease immediately, which there are plenty of threads on Reddit/Leasehackr showing people that have done that to get the lease cash.

Either way, $581/mo for 36/10k w/ 1st payment DAS is still a great deal. I hope someone else can use this to negotiate a better deal for themselves!

This will be replacing my 2024 Nissan Ariya Evolve+ AWD, and joining my 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat. Looking forward to taking some roadtrips!

Well done on the $2k discount. Definitely smart to go this route if ownership is in the equation.

Update us after you take delivery what your real-world EV range is.

Thanks! I actually negotiated another $500 off, and had them find one with $500 less of port-installed accessories. Updated the post.

Should be able to immediately buyout the lease for $46-47k for a $54k car. Not much that competes with this car for $46k new. Would be even less if you don’t care about PP.

Hi! I just came from the dealer and got the most absurd quote on this exact car - and I’m in Vermont. I don’t know if you’re allowed to tell me how you secured this and where from but I’d love to know. Also were you able to get it right away? They said it would be months.

What dealer in VT? If you want to PM me I’ll reach out to my dealer on your behalf. I secured this incoming car a little over 3 weeks ago. Should be here mid-July.

@Jrouleau426 should be able to beat this deal as well.

I’ll PM you, TY!

Maybe my brains not working but why does leasing this to just buy it out right seem like a good idea? Couldn’t someone just negotiated the discount on the sale price for financing?

The $6500 in lease cash makes it a wise move. It’ll cost you $1,000 to do it this way, but if you’re just purchasing one of these you get none of it.

Oh I see - is that lease cash bc it’s electric or is it something else?

He cannot. I went to him with the deal I had and he said the best he can do is $1,698 discount vs $2,500 that I negotiated with the local dealer.

That means you did really, really well. My understanding is his network of dealers is rarely beaten.
