Agree. The deals are not bad now but I feel like May might see better incentives. My local store inventory is pretty low right now which gets rid of the on-site and conquest rebates. April had the on-site discount reduced from $2k → $1k. I’m hoping 18m lease numbers make more ‘sense’ next month too. Currently 36m is the much better value.

The SA I’ve been in contact with told me to expect May to be worse - last day for current incentives is May 7th.
The offers expired 4/30. They updated them yesterday morning (5/1), but as far as I can tell the only thing that changed was the expiration date of the offers. Everything else the same.
Looks the same to me too. Odd they say the offers last until May 7th. Wonder why they are doing that, as have never done that before. Not like the offers are that great either.
Got this message from my SA today:

That is such bs. These companies are taking advantage of the tarriffs. Just look at their profits coming out.
Good luck Lucid, if you raise prices your cars really won’t sell. Aggressive leases are only thing that is keeping them in business.

It’s of course yet to be confirmed as true. We won’t know until 5/8.
I know and if they do affect any parts, Lucid did not have enough in storage to produce cars longer term? Just makes no sense to me. But so far they have proven they are not very inept at planning. Just look at the Gravity delay and then no HUD now until maybe later this year.
See what happens. Don’t trust what an SA says, but something is strange is happening when offers don’t end until May 7th.
They will get crushed if lease prices go up. They are already not as aggressive as they used to be.
I think they were expecting a big push for quarter end numbers in April. They missed their target, and are now extending for another week. That’s my guess for the weird 5/7 deadline.
Any complex manufactured good has a complex international supply chain. Among other things, tariffs on aluminum and steel mean that basically everything made of metal is more expensive.

Still you should have more than 30 days supply of that. They have almost 0 DDP cars since Jan and that has nothing to do with tarriffs.
If you are right and they do get more expensive, then Lucid is in trouble. I don’t see other competitors having supply issues. Gravity delays will have me cancel my order.
All speculation at this point though.
