This is the most insane thing ever. They cannot process financing on my lease because I forgot my middle name and they will only accept a birth certificate or marriage license (both of which have my middle name and neither of which I have access to right now).
Wow! That is crazy! They wonât let you do the application again with the middle name added?
Apparently not because the bank already has me in the system now and it will just link it back to my initial application name. It was legit easier getting my mortgage since they didnât make me prove my name with a birth certificate lol. Also really disappointing as I had an excellent deal locked in for July and it could take 6-8 weeks to get a copy of my birth certificate so who knows what the deals will look like in September.
Maybe itâs a blessing in disguise. If theyâre so incompetent in this, how would they deal with vehicle issues?
My lease process was straight forward. It was instant approval and zero complications. Your story is surely a nightmare and I am so sorry about that!
Bank of America handles Lucid finance services and all the documentation I received was from Bank of America. I would think they have a better handle on this stuff but apparently not! I donât think Lucid manages this directly. I interacted with Lucid mobile service yesterday for some items I wanted to address part of my walkthrough when I took possession of the car. Mobile service came home and they were awesome. He even shared his mobile number for me to text anytime I have any questions. It is amazing car and I am happy with Lucid service so far. I hope your issue gets squared out soon.

For your lease were the on-site + referral credits reflected as the down payment or as a reduction of the capitalized cost?
Anyone have any insight into this⌠I have my employment info (the work number) frozen and not sure if it will affect my lease application. I called to get it unfrozen but itâs going to take a couple of days to process and they seem to be dragging their feet on the request.
Anyone know if this will affect my lease application? I donât want to apply and get denied and have to deal with much more complicated solution
My lease disclosures sent via docusign did not have the onsite discount listed. They tried to shrug it off that itâs inconsequential and separate from the bank lease agreement they send via onespan. But I did get it fixed and required all documents to be sent again. Lot of suspense at the 11th hour

Yeah, my lease offer that they provided after approval (finally) showed a $5500 down payment (onsite plus referral plus $500 reservation). But my advisor said that was a mistake and those bonuses arenât supposed to be applied to down payment. I honestly donât know what is going on with this company.
In my case bonuses and onsite credits were not applied to down payment. That was reduction on the vehicle price, showed as agreed up on price in the lease agreement.
It seems like Lucid Finance/Bank of America is having a tough time keeping up?

Same issue i had with them as well. under cash due at signing / due at delivery it should include onsite + referral + EV credit + Air credit + monthly + registeration , etc.
Mine only had fees, registration, monthly, and 7500EV credit. I had a long phone call thinking that it would be fixed, but was told it was applied elsewhere. I also didnt undertstand the numbers at first but they explained that everything was reflected in the sale price, adjusted capitilized cost.
Ex; My MSRP with destination and blue paint= 72,200
Then â - 7500 Air Credit - $4750 referal and onsite = $59,950
- acquisition fee + doc fee = 61,020 = gross capitilized cost
- 7500 EV credit
= adjusted cap cost of 53,520.
So the numbers were applied but not listed. After understanding the numbers, i signed. hopefully that doesnt bite me in the ass for not having them specifically state it as others have done here

took delivery yesterday, drive 302 miles without stopping to charge from georgia to NC. started the drive with 401 miles of range. arrived home with 32 miles left. placed my car in my regular standard outlet⌠estimated 3 days to charge till 85%. ( I know, i will never drive to that low of a charge again) . I will need that nema 14-50âŚ
Just confirming that i am better off installing the 14-50 than the 14-100 (the one for the $1200 lucid charger)? Logistic wise is it more expensive to have the 14-100 installed? I also understand that it is probably not necessarily needed to charge 80mi/hr for daily use. I just want to make sure i fully understand before i purchase
